Field Equipment for Rangers

Effective conservation is only possible with sufficient material support. Even donated second-hand equipment can provide enormous value in Africa.

Because we often cooperate with smaller local organizations operating in the generally underfunded conservation sector, our partners have a tremendous need for almost any type of quality field equipment. We help bridge these gaps by sending both new and second-hand equipment, especially from the Czech Republic.

In cooperation with the charitable organization Kola pro Afriku (Bikes for Africa), we have already sent dozens of mountain bikes to places such as Zakouma National Park (Chad), Odzala-Kokoua National Park (Congo), and Garamba National Park (Democratic Republic of Congo).

We also help long-term conservation partners obtain tents, backpacks, field mattresses, quality footwear and clothing, as well as various electronics including GPS devices, camera traps, cameras, mini projectors, mobile phones, and laptops.

For these purposes, we also accept used equipment from the public, provided it remains fully functional.
