In the Conkouati-Douli National Park in Congo, we initiated the rescue of a forest elephant that was found with a poacher's eye on its leg. Thanks to the intervention of our colleagues and especially veterinarian Lukáš Pavlačík, we managed to find the elephant, put it to sleep and successfully treat it. Without this intervention, it would probably have died over time. Filip Schätz and Arthur Sniegon also participated in the event.
